After that, we’ll go to Rabat, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. We’ll visit the Hassan Tower and the Oudayas Kasbah. We will also be able to see the Chellah location. Later, we’ll travel to Fes and stay at a small hotel/Riad.
The city of Fes will be visited on the second day of our 5-day Casablanca to Marrakech Tour. A local guide will accompany us and discuss the history of Fes. We will begin by visiting the Royal Palace, commonly known as Dar al-Makhzen. The Mellah, Morocco’s oldest Jewish quarter, will be our next stop (1438). It’s in Fes El Jdid, in the old territory of Sultan’s Syrian archers.
