    In this 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will get to wander around both Morocco’s desert as well as its imperial cities. Get your cameras ready as there will be several photo opportunities along the road where you can capture the magnificent panoramic natural scenes in every stop of our tour.

    Spend a week in Morocco and get inspired by this suggested itinerary. Morocco has a lot to offer, from historic medinas and high-altitude mountain passes to enormous sand dunes and starry nights in the desert.

    Overview of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    The tour will begin in Casablanca. After touring and enjoying Rabat’s (the capital of Morocco) main attractions, we’ll drive to reach the blue pearl of Morocco, Chefchaouen. Discover the blue lanes of Chefchaouen, the Roman remains of Volubilis and Meknes city, and spend a whole day seeing the main attractions of Fes. 

    You’ll pass by Ifrane, Morocco’s Switzerland, and the Azrou’s cedar forest on your way to the Sahara desert. After arriving in Merzouga, you will go on a camel trekking expedition across the Erg Chebbi desert sand dunes, and you will watch a stunning sunset from the top of a high dune. An overnight stay awaits you in a desert camp. By driving from Merzouga to Marrakech, you’ll pass through Todra gorges, Dades Gorges, Roses Valley, and several lovely Berber settlements.

    DAY 1 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    It’s a tale of three cities! Our driver/guide for your trip will meet you at the airport or at your Casablanca accommodation and transport you to Chefchaouen, after touring and enjoying Casablanca’s main sights. 

    You will stop at Rabat to see “The Royal Palace,” “The Hassan Tower,” and “The Mausoleum of Mohamed V”.Then, we proceed to Chefchaouen, where you will spend the night in a Riad or a hotel.

    DAY 2 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    This day is set up for sightseeing in Chefchaouen. After breakfast at your hotel, you discover the beautiful town that is Morocco’s most popular tourist destination. Chefchaouen’s most notable characteristic is the blue paint that colors the Medina’s walls in various forms of blue. 

    Once you’ve entered Chefchaouen’s Medina, begin hiking to the “Ras El Maa Waterfall,” a well-known water source at the top of a mountain from where you can overlook much of the city and explore its rocky environment. On your trip to the summit, you’ll pass through the following monuments and iconic structures, such as Place “Outa El Hamam,” a square surrounded by cafés and restaurants.

    You’ll stop by the “Kasbah,” a lavishly rebuilt 18th-century walled castle with a magnificent garden on Chefchaouen. The tour is incomplete unless you see the “Grand Spanish Mosque,” which was constructed in the 15th century. You will stay at Chefchaouen for the night.

    DAY 3 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    The travel to Fes begins after breakfast at your Chefchaouen lodging. On this day, the route passes through Ouazzane. We’ll stop in Volubilis, the oldest Roman colony south of Morocco, to see the magnificence of the Roman Empire and admire the exquisite mosaics in the destroyed homes.

    We will stop at Meknes and walk through the El Hedim plaza and Medina. We’ll see all of the city’s major sites, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Sahrij Souani, and Bab El Mansour, Morocco’s largest gate. Lunch will be eaten in Meknes. Later, we’ll continue our journey to Fes, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel or Riad.

    DAY 4 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    This day is dedicated to touring the historical landmarks of Fes with a local guide. It is the world’s oldest cultural and spiritual metropolis. Moulay Idriss II established the city around 790 A.D.

    Al-Qarawiyyin University (the world’s first founded university), Bou Inania Madrasa (theological colleges), the Jewish District (Mallah), plazas, Andalusian districts, potters, museums, Souks (traditional marketplaces), the magnificent Tanneries, and Bab Boujloud will all be visited.

    Lunch will be served in a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the ancient Medina. A quick visit to the famed ceramic plant is included in your full-day tour to Fes. Then, you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the artisanal city’s Medina. We will return you to your riad or hotel, where you will spend the night, after the trip.

    DAY 5 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    After breakfast at your Fes hotel, we depart for the southeast, passing via Ifrane and the Cedar Forest in Azrou, Morocco’s biggest ape-inhabited woodland. After that, we’ll have lunch in Midelt. Our excursion will continue through Tizi N’Taghamt and the gorgeous Ziz valley/gorge, where you will be able to take in the scenery.

    Later, we continue our trip to the Merzouga desert. You will leave your bags in a guest home to begin your camel trekking expedition over the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. On top of a high dune, you’ll get a spectacular view of the sunset. We’ll return to your desert tent, where you’ll spend the night. It’s party time after a fantastic supper! To conclude your night, listen to and dance to Berber music performed by local nomads under the stars.

    DAY 6 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    You’ll get up early on this day to see the stunning dawn over the spectacular sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Then, you’ll take a camel ride back to your Merzouga lodging, where you’ll be able to shower and eat a fantastic breakfast. Then, we go to Rissani to see its traditional market, which is said to be the largest in all of Southern Morocco.

    After that, we’ll head to the Todra Gorges, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest ravine, for a trek through its spectacular canyon. Lunch will be served in a restaurant with a view of the valley. We’ll continue our journey to Dades Valley, where you’ll view gorgeous sand castles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes”. The night will be spent in a hotel or Riad with a view of the breathtaking Dades Valley.

    DAY 7 of the 7-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

    On the final day of the tour, we will depart Dades Gorges for Marrakech. You’ll travel down the Thousand Kasbahs route, stopping to visit Kalaat M’Gouna (Valley of Roses). Rose products may be purchased at this lovely location. We continue on our journey to Amridil Kasbah in Skoura

    You’ll proceed to the Ouarzazate cinema studio, where great films were shot. Atlas Studio is often known as the “Hollywood of Africa”. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which was formerly a rest stop for caravans and is now the setting for numerous international films.

    Lunch will be served in a restaurant with a view of the Kasbah. Finally, we carry on to Marrakech through Tizi N’Tichka, which provides stunning views of valleys, mountains, and several Berber communities.
    By the evening, you’ll be dropped off at your Marrakech hotel.
