Our Atlantic Coast of Morocco Tour is enjoyable for both tourists and locals all year round. Yet, some agree that it is especially enjoyable in the summer. Allow us to show you around some famous Moroccan cities and transport you to the Ameln Valley, tucked in the heights of the Anti Atlas Mountains with peculiar rock formations, to cool yourself in the Atlantic cool wind.
We have made the Atlantic Coast of Morocco Tour an 8-day one. However, it can be customizable to yet fit your needs and requirements.
We pick you up from the Marrakech Menara International Airport. We, then, transfer you to your hotel where you will have dinner and sleep for the night.
After a pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech, we head west to the Atlantic Coast of Morocco Tour. Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Essaouira – Arabic for “the wall” – is a charming fishing harbor that reflects the Portuguese spirit of 16th-century inhabitants.
The massive fortification of white washed, blue-shuttered buildings (constructed at sea level) is well-known for its superb handcrafts. Marquetry, the craft of manipulating wood with ebony, mother-of-pearl, and silver threads, thrives in the city. We drop you off at your hotel where you’ll also have dinner.
Departure from Essaouria in the morning towards Agadir. Visit Sidi Kaouki beach that has untouched sand dunes and argon bushes making it one of Morocco’s most stunning beaches. Taghazoute Beach, a surfer’s paradise, offers beautiful sea vistas and the benefits of fresh Atlantic Ocean air.
After a lounging time at the beach where you can swim and sunbathe (depending on the weather), we head back to your hotel to have dinner and end day 3 on the Atlantic Coast of Morocco.
Continue on your way to the relaxed city of Sidi Ifni. The Spanish flair and Art Deco buildings make for a relaxing – but exciting – visit. Move on to Tiznit, where the inhabitants dress in traditional attire and offer handcrafted Berber jewelry.
By the end of the day, you head back to your hotel to have dinner.
Our Atlantic Coast of Morocco Tour proceeds to the Anti Atlas, where we visit the settlements of G’limime and Tafraoute. The region is well-known for its almond trees, argan oil, and babouches manufacturing (a traditional Moroccan leather shoe).
Finish the day with a stroll in the Amen Valley, where weather-worn stones shift from pink to gray to gold based on the time of day. An overnight stay awaits you at the hotel where you’ll also be having dinner.
Continue to Taroudant via Chtouka Ait Baha. Taroudant (dubbed the “mini-Marrakech”) is a beautiful village surrounded by a red ocher wall. Taroudant is a terrific shopping destination for fans of one-of-a-kind silver goods.
We transfer you to your hotel to have dinner by the end of the day.
Leave Taroudante towards Marrakech through the Test Pass and see the Tin Mal Berber Mosque. Non-Muslims are welcome to visit this mosque.
Visit the Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace in Marrakech. Tour the Agdal Gardens, the Gueliz area, and the medieval Medina after lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the marketplaces and the iconic Djemaa el Fna Square.
Dinner awaits you in the hotel where you’ll stay for the night.
On the last day of the Atlantic Coast of Morocco Tour, transfer to the Menara International Airport is dependent on your departure timing.
Join us on our Atlantic Coast of Morocco Tour to go sightseeing around Morocco! We’ll do our best to show you around so many spots (nooks and crannies included) that you will like a Moroccan citizen. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us.
