Day 1 : Marrakech – Kasbah Ait ben haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

In the early morning, we will leave the hotel and we start our 3 days Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour with Overnight Camel Trek Merzouga towards Dades Valley through the High Atlas Mountains. On our way to Dades Gorges a number of Berber villages and sublime natural scenes will mesmerize you. Thus, we will have several breaks to enjoy some beautiful views and places. First, we will stop to see some panoramic views from Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass. Then, we will also stop to visit an Argan oil cooperative to see the process of producing Argan Oil and learn about the uncountable benefits of it. Following this, we will continue our way to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fortified village is a famous Kasbah not only locally but also globally for it serves as the setting for many international films such, Gladiator, Prince of Arabia, the Mummy, Jewel of the Nile and so many others. As we have lunch in a close restaurant to the Kasbah, we will head to the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate. In this touristic city, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the cinema studies where many movies have been shot. Then, we will across the oasis of Skoura and the Valley of the Roses before reaching Dades Gorge where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga overnight camel trek

As the second day of the tour, we will walk a bit in Dades gorges before traveling to Todra Gorge vie several Berber towns and oases. As we reach Todra Gorges, which are series of limestone river canyons, you will have lunch in a local restaurant and free time to explore the gorges before heading towards the heart of the Moroccan southeastern desert, Merzouga. In this touristic town, we will rest a bit in the hotel before riding the camels across the desert to sightsee a spectacular sunset on top of a sand dunes. After that, we will ride the camels again to a bivouac where you will be entertained with Berber drums music (singing and dancing) before having dinner and sleeping in tents.

Day 3: Merzouga – ziz valley – Azrou – Fez

Today, we will wake you up early to see a marvelous sunset on top of a sand dune. Then, we will ride the camels back to the hotel in Merzouga to have breakfast and take a warm shower. As you get ready, we will leave Merzouga towards the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. On our way to Fes, we will stop in Rissani to explore its traditional souk which is the biggest in the region. We will stop also in Erfoud, which is well-known for its date festival and fossils workshops, to buy -if you want- some marbles, gifts or souvenirs. Following this, we will continue our way to Fes passing through Errachidia, Rich and Midelt where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will head to “the Cedar forest of Azrou” to see, feed and take memorial pictures with its lovely monkeys. Our last stop will take place in Ifran or “the Switzerland of Morocco” where we will enjoy its beautiful gardens before checking into your hotel/Riad in Fes.
