10 Days private Tours from Casablanca

 

1st day: Casablanca – chefchouen

 Upon your arrival to Casablanca, we will take you from the airport to the hotel to put your luggage and rest. After that, we will visit Hassan II mosque, which is the largest mosque in Africa and the fifth largest in the whole world. Then, we will head to Rabat to sightsee Hassan II tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V which both represent important historical and touristic sites in Rabat. We will also visit the Kasbah of Oudaya before leaving the capital city of Morocco towards the blue city of Morocco, Chefchouen.

2nd day: chefchouen – Fes

After breakfast, we will leave chefchouen towards the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco, Fes. Along the way, we will stop in Volubilis, an archeological site which still contains a lot of Roman ruins. As we entered Volubilis, you will enjoy exploring the different remaining ruins that still embrace many stories about their era. Following this, we will continue our way to Meknes, the sixth largest city in Morocco. In this imperial city, we will discover first its old medina before visiting Mansour gate, Lhdim square and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail who is the city founder. After lunch, we will head to Fez where you will spend the night.

3rd day: Fes Sightseeing

Today’s excursion will take place in one of the old Moroccan cities, Fes. First, we will visit the old medina of Fes which is known with its narrow alleys and colorful souks (markets). As we get into the old medina, we will visit the Bou Inania Quranic School, the Kairaouine Mosque and some traditional tanneries. After lunch, we will head to Fes El-Jdid or the New Fes to sightsee some beautiful places as well as visit the Batha Music where you will discover part of the Moroccan Islamic Art. Late in the evening, we will head back to the hotel/Riad.

4th day: Fes – Merzouga

Early in the morning, we will leave Fes towards Merzouga via a number of beautiful views and cities. Our first stop will be the cedar forest of Azrou where you will see some lovely monkeys. Then, we will continue our way to Midelt, the city of Apple, to have lunch. After that, we will drive through Tizi-n-Talremt pass and ziz valley to Errachidia, the main city in the region. After a quick break in that city, we will head to Erfoud which is nationally known for its annually date festival and fossils workshops. By the evening, we will reach Merzouga where a convoy of camels will be waiting us to take us in an exploratory trip in Erg Chebbi dunes. After enjoying a fabulous sunset, we will ride the camels again to a bivouac where you will spend an unforgettable night full of Berber drums music, singing and dancing.

5th day: Merzouga

In the morning, we will wake you up early so as not to miss a marvelous sunset. Then, we will ride the camels to explore other beautiful places in the desert. We will take with us everything we will need in order to cook and eat our lunch in the nomad’s way. We will spend the whole day exploring the desert before heading back to the bivouac to have dinner and spent the night.

6th day: Merzouga – Dades

In the morning, we will ride the camels back to the hotel where you will have breakfast and take a shower. As you get ready, we will leave the hotel towards Toudra gorges, a series of limestone river canyons. In this impressive place, you will have enough free time to explore its corners and enjoy its uniqueness. After having lunch in the gorge, we will drive toward Dades Gorges via Boumalen dades, a beautiful small Berber village. Along the way, we will have different breaks to see some beautiful views and take memorial pictures. Night will be spent in the Gorges of Dades.

7th day: Dades – Ouarzazate

After having breakfast, we will go on an exploratory trip inside the Dades Gorges. Then, we will walk back to the hotel to continue our way to the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate. Along the way, we will visit some nomad families in their tents to share with them a cup of tea and learn from them about their traditions and customs.  Following this, we will drive to Kallet Megouna which is famous for its annually Rose festival. We can also have a break in this beautiful city to –if you want- buy some natural creams and other roses products. Our next stop, we will be the Kasbah of Amredil in Skoura. As we explore the Kasbah, we will head to our final stop, Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night.

8th day: Ouarzazate – Marrakesh

After having breakfast, we will head to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and a World Heritage site. This Kasbah is well-known for being the setting for many international films such as, Kingdom of Heaven, the Gladiator and many others. As we explored the Kasbah, we will drive to Telouet where we will visit another old Kasbah known as the Kasbah of “Basha Glaoui Ethami” who was the Pasha of Marrakesh. Late in the evening, we will be in the red city, Marrakech where you will spend the night in the hotel/riad.

9th day: Marrakesh Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will head to the old Medina of Marrakech to explore its narrow red alleys and colorful souks. Then, we will visit the Quranic school of Ben Youssef which contributes significantly in the advent of many Arab intellectuals. Our sightseeing tour in Marrakech will cover also other places such as, the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs and El Bahia Palace, a palace built in the late 19th century to show the beauty of the Islamic and Moroccan style and architecture. In the evening, we will visit Jamaa El Fna Square to see snake charmers, story tellers, and music performers.

10th day: Marrakech _ Casablanca

In the early morning, we will head to Casablanca to catch up your flight.
