Day 1
Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel Trek & Sahara Camp
After breakfast or after arriving at Errachidia Airport, the desert experience starts. Drive south along the picturesque Valley of the Ziz, renowned for the palm groves and Berber villages. You will pause at panorama points, where the magnificent view can be taken in and the way of life in the Atlas mountains is uncovered.
Head towards Erfoud, the "Gateway to the Sahara Desert" and renowned for fossil workshops. Then go on to Merzouga, where your camel caravan will be waiting. Venture through the rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun is just tipping into the horizon, something you will never forget.
Arrive to your desert camp, where the hearty Berber reception awaits you, plus local mint tea, and rich dinner. Enjoy live music around the campfire and be starstruck by the desert night sky before spending the night in a luxury tent.

Day 2
Merzouga – Rissani – Errachidia
Get up at dawn to watch the dawn illuminate the dunes gold and orange spectacular. After breakfast, take the camels or be transported by 4x4 back down into the village at Merzouga.
Then on to Rissani, the medieval town renowned for the local market and the traditional souk, still carried out by desert tribes as they have through the centuries, swapping their goods. Then back through Erfoud and Valley of the Ziz to Errachidia, back again in the afternoon or evening.
Your memorable 2-day Sahara tour concludes on drop-offs at either your hotel or the airport.
